Meet Your New Trainer

I have been an “animal nerd” my entire life. So when I became an adult, the first thing I did was find ways to work with animals! When I entered veterinary medicine I quickly realized how desperately medical providers, owners, and the public need to better understand how companion animals think and operate. So I went to school at the University of Kentucky to receive my degrees in Biology and Psychology, with a research focus in Animal Behavior. But I am always learning- soon I will have the requirements to complete CPDT-KA licensure, and that alphabet soup means I will have spent the hundreds of hours necessary for cutting my teeth in the training world.

My training style is backed by recommendations from veterinary behaviorists and animal cognition researchers. By using positive reinforcement methods, my goal is to help you and your pet live in harmony with the world around you, while focusing on the overall emotional wellness of your companion.
